Hello All, just found this forum while doing a google search for Tradigos. How do you test it out, just open a 1 minute NQ chart on ninja, right click, strategies, and add TradigosNQ strategy?

This thing is on fire. How do you put in the entry criteria? Do you have it to submit immediately?

 

Also, do you have enable schedule?

 

Anyone tried out NQ during FOMC? Anyone think it moves to break even too quickly? Mine glitched at about 1440 EST

Hi guys,

I am an algorithmic trader. Just wanted to let you know that I found out about this bot a few weeks ago and got the free trial. The results that they present are from backtest, which seems very good but the reality is different. I put it on real time with MNQ and it did not do even one positive day...

Every single time that you backtest or if you add the strategy and you put 5 days (let´s say) and then check the trades, it is not realistic, it is not true. Why? This is due to how Line Break works. Tradigos uses a break-even and a trailing stop for their operations. So basically in order that the backtest to touch the stop there must be a candle breaking the low of the previous 3 lines in 3 minutes, otherwise it just does not jump. This makes the backtest take all the swing movements that you for sure will not take on real time. While there it shows a TP, for you it will be an SL.

While trying it in real-time, obviously you cannot avoid the strategy to run on every tick, so the stop jumps again and again and again. It does many operations. It seems that it overtrades. It does not wait even 30 minutes out of the market.

This was just my 1-week experience, maybe you will have more luck.

Just take into account that trades must only be posted here if you add the strategy with just 1 day and leave it running on a simulation, then you have to click on ONLY real-time results, DO NOT include historical.

I totally agree with you regarding the results of BT, they are false without a doubt for what you have explained well, it does not take into account the ticks so the SL and TP can never be real.

For that reason I am testing it in real time, in a Sim account.

The results that I am publishing, in case they help you, are not BT, they are real time.

I want to check this week with gone.

If you have verified that it does not work well with 3 lines 3 minutes, have you tried with other graphics parameters?

I did tests with those and it was not profitable either.

Now my configuration is different and at the moment it is evolving favorably, but it is only a few days and I prefer to assess it with more time.

What I like least is the MAE of some trades, they seem difficult to endure in the NQ although my intention is to do it with MNQ.

I've been trying this for a couple weeks and you are correct the real results are not the same as the backtest. I think a lot of times the profit target is too high so it hit its stoploss or breakeven a lot.

 

I had to rollover in the MNQ and today I will do it with NQ, but the party continues... many SL but the TP make up for those losses.
Real time on SIM account, I can only keep testing this version until next week with NT8 8.0.22, then I have to wait to complete this purchase.
I insist, the 3 Lines Break 3 Minutes setup has not been profitable for me, I had to look for another setup.
