Is the EA working for ftmo only?

 

I am testing on FTMO. So is LSD

Not sure who is testing out side that broker

 

Have you passed the FTMO demo test?

Are you using 5 minutes, time from 15 to 20 and risk 1.0/0.5/0.5?

first time seen a thread generated many responses - is it a fluke, hype, or reality?

 

I also found the reason it triggered 2 at the same time.

I had the EA running on my other VM and didnt stop that one
So I am going to take that 2nd trade out and run it again Tuesday NewYork session and see if i can legitimately get over the 1500 profit to pass the account

 

I run the EA 24/4 LOL. I now have it turned off so I do not trade on the Monday session.
I will then activate it again on Tuesday morning my time ready to trigger in the New York session

 

XAUUSD - 5m - FTMO - Manage the trade so it does not run over the change of day so you don't pay swaps - Basically I will manually close any open trade before the day change over. - I personally do not trade on Mondays

I also leave the default 24/7 but no transactions on the 22nd like yours. Does changing the number 9000 have any effect?

 

yes, it’s pertaining to the profit target of respective challenges/targets.

 

I did Backtest and it doesn't seem to work when changing the value

 

so you close every single trade before the day ends? i closed mine on friday, my account is sat at nearly 1% profit. Monday was a loss, it was up and down by friday was down 2%, took the friday trade and that got me above water. We will see what happens next week. I only close out my trades at the end of friday.

Can you tell me if you usually have to close trades out before day end though? because besides friday there hasnt been another day for me like that. Would you do it even if its in a loss etc

 

it’s been proven by members here that backtesting doesn’t work as intended - the only reason why CutSnake & LSD are forward testing - and LSD will pilferage other people’s houses when it fails…

Only trade i manually interferred with was the last one (friday close). Besides not trading monday please let me know what's been different.

I didn't trade on the 22nd. Strangely I still test on FTMO demo

 

I think the only other one I had to close was on the first 200k account.
Yes. My rule will be to close at end of day even if it is not in profit.
