I loaded it up on XAUUSD 5m chart but still has not taken any trades for 2 days. Can someone help to see what I'm doing wrong? The auto trader is on with a smiley face so not sure what the problem is.

 

The best timeframe for XAU/USD for this EA is 15M. I have gained $2700 in 3 days on my $25k prop account. It only took 1 trade a day as I only set it to trade New York session. So far so good. Will keep updated

 

Hello please can you share your .set ?

 

I just use the default settings but I change the risk % from 2.0 to 1.0. Also set the time so that the EA runs at the srart of New York Open. That'll depend on what your broker time is when new yourk opens. The end time can be set to about 5 or 6 hours after NY open.

 

So far made 5% this week. Default settings.

anyone here tried using it? Share your results.

 

I'm up 16% in 4 days. Didn't trade Monday and only traded Gold in New York session

Raymond, How many trades a day does it made, i paste your setting and the bot is smiling but doesn t make any trade, i will let stting as yours and wait next monday or tuesday if it launch . Many thanks for your help

The one on Page 16 of this thread. The Emerald Ea v2 XAU. I only use it on Gold, 15m timeframe

 

So far 1 trade a day. But makes good profits for me that 1 trade is enough.

 

On that day I took one trade on US30 but closed it immediately in profit because the stop loss was too close. So because the stop loss was too close to entry it made the lot size massive.

But I stopped it and decided to only focus o Gold.

 

how much was that profit then? was it the full 800?
