    the short manual supplied mentions prop firm trading but i would mention it IS martingale. an unusual type where the lot size multiplier varies. anything from x1 to x6

    my "clevr FX inst" made 1.8 % for the 4 days between when i started it and the end of the trading week. even though it only traded once on friday. this is because there was a lot of news released and the default setting under the line "currencies" is aud cad eur gbp jpy nzd usd. this could be reduced to suit the pair involved and allow more trades. opinions anyone ? for example eur usd could have the other 5 currencies removed from the "currencies" line of the set file.

    i use the recommended pairs from the scanty little manual of gbp usd and eur usd H1 and $10k. my return is now 2.5% since 1.8.23. the drawdown has been small so a larger lot size or smaller account may be ok, but you would really have to run it in the strategy tester over the whole year to make sure it doesn't martingale out of control and crash. one week isn't an adequate test of course. e.g oracle V2 is great until it isnt. it has made 50% from 17.7.23 till today but it did blow the account the week before. and that is using my set file not their. theirs is much worse. the default set file is extremely high risk and only suits a flat market. the step size is too small among other things.
