If we can truly confirm that it is the same Quantum speed as shown in the myfxbook, I will join the CB. I have been looking forward to buying this EA for a long time.

 

Someone I contacted is testing it on a PAMM account the bot owner created on Vantage Markets. So far it is legit although last week it had it first big loss in two YEARS. It had a 10% loss but the days before it had made over 8% gain. but overall, they still 1% up for the month of August.

 

Did you factor in slippages and spreads for backtests?

 

The reason why the forward testing has given crazy returns than the backtest is because they commit 10% of the account to a trade. So far, it has a win rate of about 95%. The bot trades for some few minutes to get some few pips and close. Occassionaly it trades for a couple of hours but most times it just trades for few seconds and closes the trade for the day. It does not trade again until the next day. So if you trade it with standard 1% per trade, you will have significantly less profits than shown in the myfxbook account but in my opinion, that way is much safer and better.

 

Ok, thank you, moreover if I'm not wrong there is no loss on that myfxbook since 2022 year, also crazy, I wonder what is the SL it uses, hope it's not a big one.

Also if you notice no loss over two years, I wonder what SL it uses if it's a big one but the DD is low so it should not be a big SL, very strange...and unbelievable....

 

What do you think guys should be the minimum balance to run this ea ?

It uses a SL of 200 pips (2000 points) on gold. so let's say it enters at 1900.00, it stop loss will be set at 1920.00. Now based on your capital, this 200 pips is sized to be equivalent of 10% of your capital that you are trading with. I would say, you can start with a minimum of $1k and then use a lot size of 0.01. So every loss you make will be $10 which will be 1% of your account.

 

Also there was a SL on the one used for their PAMM accounts last week Friday. A 10% loss but it appears to me that the one on myfxbook was not running at that time but I can confirm there was a loss and people were upset about it last week. I have attached a screen shot of another PAMM they are running on Fusion Markets

This seems almost equal to Golden Buffalo since they are also using a 10% stop loss correct?

 

Isnt it possible after purchase for us to create a thread to get the code so we can copile it when there is a new updated instead of having to pay every version?

 

I think results will be broker dependant. I saw on mql that there's 2 full SL for HFmarkets on 1 & 2 Aug, but not on PuPrime or ICMarkets

 

The IC markets too has the SL as well. It has been removed from myfxbook but I saw over the weekend that it had the stop losses as well. And yes it is dependent on broker and type of account used. The owner recommends using an ECN account with raw spreads. Apparently, the puprime account was not being ran at the time the losses happened but apart from that those on Vantage, HF Markets , IC Markets and Fusion Markets all had same losses.
